Vincent S. Nativo, RA, AIA LEED-AP
Graduated from Xaverian High School in Brooklyn, NY in 1991 with an elite class of young men prepared for college. He then attended Pratt Institute in 1991 where he graduated with honors in 1996
At the age of twelve, Vincent’s father, Sebastiano Nativo, Sr. introduced Vincent to the construction industry by bring him to various job sites. During the summers when Vincent was fourteen thru eighteen, he worked as an intern for the prestigious architectural firm of Montoya-Rodriguez, PC in New York City. There, he learned all the aspects of architecture design and had his first introduction to what it means to be “valuable” to a client. At the age of nineteen, when he started Pratt Institute, thru the age of twenty-two, he returned back to work the summers under his father’s guidance to refine his architectural teachings against construction details. At the age of twenty-three Vincent needed to spread his wings and again worked for an architectural firm, this time Faulding & Fredman Architects in New York City. This was a milestone in Vincent’s career: “Working in a small firm is critical in any architecture student’s education because of all the directions you can learn from.” Vincent worked at Faulding & Fredman Architects thru the summer of 1997. At that time, he returned back to working under his fathers guidance. This time, with a different goal: to lead his father’s family business into the next millennium!
